These wild Lorakeets were feeding on a feast of sunflower seeds on the driveway. Over 45 came every evening, along with a couple of Rozellas, Pigeons and some cheeky Cockatoos. They were amazing to feed and amazing to photograph too.

That is too cool that you got them that close without them flying off. Awesome job =)
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have such colorful birds outside. I saw Rainbow Lorikeets at the Cincinnati Zoo, Ohio, USA. Fell in love with them and was looking to get one as a pet. I ended up with a cockatiel, Hamlin, and no regrets.
ReplyDeleteI love your picture.
What a beautiful pic, over 45 of them is sure a sight to see, lucky you!
ReplyDeleteVery funny and wonderful colors. Have a good week
ReplyDeleteThis bright flock is a feast for the eyes!
ReplyDeleteA TOUCH OF THE GOLD
They say just a touch of the gold
Will make even timid ones bold;
Try yellow, not blue,
And bright amber too—
And don’t be left out in the cold!
