In 76 days, 16 hours, 59 minutes and 12 seconds (yes I have a countdown timer going) I'm leaving on my great overseas trip.
For those not in-the-know, the catalyst for the trip was my friends wedding in Rarotonga. I took the opportunity and the timing of the trip to extend my leave from work and finally go on the holiday I've been dreaming of since I was a teenager (which as of next wednesday was at least 12 years ago eek!).
I've posted a page with my holiday itinerary so that everyone can keep up with where I am on what days. I am planning on posting regular updates with photos along the way, so in an attempt to get my loyal fans (thanks friends and family) back into the habit of reading my blog, I'll be posting a little more regularly from now on.
I've got lots to do before leaving in June. Lots of little things are happening and some pretty big events too including Mum's wedding next weekend, a job restructure at work and moving out of my flat. Oh and it's my birthday next week too.
While all this big stuff is going on I have lots of little projects on the go as well. I've just finished a large painting. It was a painting that someone asked me to do years ago and never collected. Now it's a cool collection of several different themes I like to paint. Hopefully someone likes it enough to want it someday.
I've also been photographing two of the grils at work on a regular basis. They are both pregnant (Anna is due early July and Hestia is due 3 weeks earlier in mid June.) Both ladies are gorgeous Mums-to-be and have very loving partners that join them for the photos. We are doing the photos at the office every two weeks. Check out my photography website for the photos.
Speaking of which, I've done a lot of updates on my photography website, so please check it out.
